Twitter helps my social life

Last night about 30-40 people showed up at the Creative TreeHouse to watch Ghostbusters 1 and 2. We had snacks including a giant twinkie, iced animal crackers, as well as a chocolate fountain, all accompanied by the perfect wines to go with such an assortment of party foods.

If it had not been for some Twitter banter mid-week, we would not have been able to experience such a fine occasion.

By the time the Burghie winner got there, I had already consumed a bit of wine. But I was celebrating her Burghie win, so I had more. I think it was Dawn who made the comment, “I like you with too much wine.”

If I met someone I didn’t know my questions followed this order:

1. What is your name?
2. What is your Twitter name?
3. Do you have a MOO card? Because I do, here you go.

Cindy brought some smooth Irish whiskey and we became sisters.

I really love the Pittsburgh social media community, they are all very cool people and most of them are cool with my obsession with Canada.

After linking a few blogs of the people I got to know better last night, I almost feel like it’s time to switch to WordPress. JUST KIDDING. But at least I was inspired to put some color at the top of my page if nothing else.

It was great seeing everyone last night! I look forward to more random hangoutz!

I really love you. A lot. With wine, but also without wine.

This entry sums up our community really well. I’m so happy to be a part of it.

We need to be together more. ;)

And hey! What’s wrong with WordPress! I’ll totally do it for you. While you sleep.

There’s a giant twinkie in my kitchen, and I’m not sure how it got there.

    (Thanks for the picture.)

Thats a really cute picture. Well, the girl there is lovely, the guy looks insane.

It was very nice talking to you, providing that you remember it through all the wine. :)

Rachel- I really love you toooooo. That’s frightening about the giant twinkie in your kitchen… IDK about WordPress.

Will- I DO remember! You’re a nice young chap.

Has anyone seen a giant twinkie? I think I might have misplaced one sometime Friday…

You didn’t have too much wine. Fortunately you also didn’t have too little. You had just the right amount.

What a grand night it was. Let’s have many more.

    Rock on, sister!

Most definitely a fun night. Even though it was the second night in a row I saw you and we barely conversed. Have to work on that. But yeah, my social life has definitely been improved via Twitter. =)

    You and wine… dangerously amazing.

And I can’t believe its almost been a year since I took that roses picture at the top of your blog. It went so fast and slow at the same time.
